For this project, I collaborated closely with the founder of a start-up technical brand to develop an E-Bike rain suit. The project began after the first prototype, which required several design and fit adjustments. I reworked the pattern, updated the tech pack, and supported the development of the brand’s size guide and graded specifications.

Creating an all-in-one suit presented unique challenges, particularly in refining the fit while accommodating multiple functional features. Through iterative adjustments and close collaboration, we achieved a final product that both the founder and I are proud of.

While developing high-performance jackets for Paramo Ltd, I worked on a mountaineering jacket that went on to win a Gold Award at ISPO. The process began by creating the base block to perfect the fit, before gradually developing and integrating innovative features.

This jacket included a unique twin-zip front vent system and a versatile double-use front pocket, combining functionality with high-performance design. The final colours were the result of a collaborative effort with a talented colour and fabric developer, ensuring the jacket was as visually striking as it was technically advanced.

For this project, I helped a founder bring his innovative concept to life: a 3-in-1 jacket that functioned as a fleece, a dressing gown, and a blanket. I drafted the block and developed the pattern alongside the tech pack, building both in tandem so that each informed the other, a process I find produces stronger, more accurate designs. Feature placements were tested and refined before producing the final reference sample for the factory.

The jacket was proudly produced in the UK, combining practicality, comfort, and creativity in a single versatile garment.
